Robert Bell – Producer
Robert Bell brings over 30 years of experience as a producer, director, and writer to the Boardroom project. As a seasoned filmmaker, Bell spent nine years as senior producer and head of production at the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, where he oversaw high-budget international documentaries for the Saudi government. His diverse portfolio spans commercials, corporate productions, television, and feature films.
Now heading Bell Films in Los Angeles, Bell works with an extensive range of clients, leveraging his global storytelling expertise. Fluent in five languages and having lived in countries such as Greece, the Philippines, China, the Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia, Bell brings a worldly perspective to every project.
A graduate of Brown University with a Master’s Degree, Bell is also a lifelong surfer with deep ties to the surf community. His recent surf trips to Samar Island in the Philippines and mainland Mexico demonstrate his enduring connection to the culture, enriching Boardroom with authenticity and passion.
Markus Davids – Producer / Director
Markus Davids, SOC, is an acclaimed producer, director, and cinematographer with a specialization in underwater filmmaking. As the founder of CineBags, Davids has spent over a decade designing and producing cutting-edge production equipment that empowers filmmakers to capture extraordinary visuals, especially in challenging environments.
Davids’ credits include work with major networks such as ESPN, FOX, NBC, and USA Network, as well as collaborations with renowned directors like Willi Bogner (James Bond) and Robert Peters. In addition to his role behind the camera, Davids recently produced and photographed the feature film Loaner and is currently shooting Welcome to Shelbyville directed by Warren McCullough.
Through CineBags, Davids combines his technical expertise with his passion for filmmaking, ensuring that productions like Boardroom achieve a high level of cinematic quality. His ability to capture the essence of surf culture and the artistry of shaping boards shines through in the film.

His technical expertise as a cinematographer and editor, combined with his business acumen, allows Jax to bring a seamless blend of creativity and precision to Boardroom.
